Default Changing wheels/cams

I have an older (10yrs) Bear Hunter with wheels which I like very much. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience changing the wheels and replacing them with cams? Any input greatly appreciated.

You will lose lots of pounds. A cam bow limb are heavier the a wheel bow limbs to get the same poundage
