Bowtech decisions..Tomkat vs Stalker

Guys,

Looking around for a replacement for my aging Buckmaster bow. Today, I went to a local shop and they had a 2k4 Tomkat and a 2k3 Stalker. I shot a few arrows out of both bows and couldn't notice any immediate differences (other than the Stalker being $50 cheaper due to being a leftover.)

Does anyone have any experience with any of these bows that might help sway my decision? I mostly treestand hunt and just want a reliable, accurate bow that is lightweight and easy to manuever up in the stand. Any info appreciated.

And then again I could just wait for the 2005 models.

In a week, the 2004 bow will be a leftover as well...

I don't have any experience with the Tomkat, but I've been shooting the Stalker for several years now. It's a fairly forgiving bow and get decent speed. I haven't found any negatives yet.

I'm currently using a stalker and it's a great lil bow. Very forgiving and accurate. I get around 270 out of it. It's been a pleasure to own.

I shoot the stalker and its accurate, forgiving and very manuverable in the treestand. Plus its under 3 lbs. if thats your thing. I love mine but these new 05's coming out are really catching my attention.

Good luck.

You might want to keep a eye on the new series of Bowtech bows that www.huntersfriend.com will have available in the next couple of weeks, there will be some great deals on these.
