tubing

Why does my new tubing keep slipping off of the spike connected to the peep sight?

Is it made out of silicone? They like to pop off alot. If I were you, Id get a non-tubing peep. Why do you want tubing pointing right at your eye, just waiting for it pop off and snap you right in the eye.

Dairy King:
I shot tubing on a peep for years and never worried about it hitting me in the eye. But now you mention it, I don't think I'll ever go back! [&:] I'll always be wondering when it will it my eye!!!

I say eliminate the tubing too... or even the peep sight! I'm shooting with just a kisser button and really perfer it to all the hassles I had with the peep. May slow the string down a little, but at least I don't have to adjust it every few shots!

I went to an aftermarket string [winners choice] and a truepeep , and it works wonders , no worries .

I've got a hunters view, 1/4" peep site with tubing on it. I super glued my peep in place and wraped serving at the top and bottom. It works great and has increased my consistancy greatly, especially from a tree stand. Wore one tubing out this past winter. But now Da#! it I'm going to be worrying about that tubing hitting my eye!
