New '03 Bowtech Mightymite for $350 good deal?

Local store selling new in box '03 mightymite for 350 bucks and sounds like a good deal to me. Guy said only difference between them really is that the cam is a little more aggressive on the '03.

Any problems with this bow? Is it quiet? Low shock?

Good deal? I will shoot it before I buy.

thanks

Yes, that's a good price. Two differences between 03 and 04 are pivoting limb pockets and bearings in the cam and idler on the 04. The 04 is also a VFT design. The 04 is quieter and has less recoil/vibration, IMO. It also has about 1/2" more brace height. The 03 is still a very nice shooting bow, however.

Sounds like a good deal to me. I had a 2002 mighty-mite and it was plenty fast.
I traded up for a 2004 Patriot, mostly because the cam and limb combination made the draw "stack" early on my mighty-mite. It was hard from the get go. I lowered it to 63.5# which was nice to shoot, but for some reason my bow holding shoulder would hurt the next day after a serious shoot.
I now shoot my Pat at 65# w/ no shoulder problems.
The 2003's are supposed to have a smoother cam than the 2002's, so you may never notice what I just wrote about.
If it's a 60#er I'd max it out and be done with it, but that's just me.
Good luck with your decision.
Still sounds like a great deal. The 2003's have mods in the half inch sizes so you should be able to acheive a perfect fit.
