Making Bow Strings
 

Does anyone know a good book or video that shows how to make bow strings? Also, I see 450 or 452 is sold in 1/4# spools. How far will that go toward making a string or buss cable? Thanks..............

I used to have a video by Yellowstone Archery (they make a string jig) that was the only one I'm aware of.

I thought about getting into making my own strings, but never went any further than watching the video.

As for how many strings you'll get, I don't know..someone else should answer who is more qualified, but I would recommend trying the BCY 452X instead of standard 450 or 452. Less fuzzy, and *slightly* quicker.
