I forgot to add earlier, but if you happen to come across a Mighty Mite, preferably one around the $300 mark (I think my wife won't freak over that!) please PM me. I'm on the lookout, but you seem to have a good bead on what's going on in the bow world. I'm assuming there is such thing as a 2003 Mighty Mite that looks/shoots like the 2004 model, but that would be more in my price range. Heck, if you decide to sell the one you have and upgrade let me know :D

David

My MightyMite is long gone. I only kept it about a month or so[8D].

The 03 MightyMite is different than the 04.

It was totally redesigned for 04.

The 03 isn't to shabby though. One of my good friends shoots an 03 Mightymite.

I will keep a good look out for you.

They just started a classified here on the BBS today. Keep an eye out in there too!

Good luck!

Maybe I'll just have to hog tie the wife and spend the extra cash for an 04, b/c I really like the look of it, and everything I've read about it is positive.

I've looked all over the archerytalk selling area and was not able to find one. I saw something on Ebay that looked like a mighty mite, but I think it was called a Bowtech 29...I believe it had around a 31 A to A though, so maybe that was the 2003 mighty mite?

I'm definitely a noobie at this. Last year I wanted to upgrade but there was just no way I could afford it.

A local dealer has an 04 MightMite VFT for $400 that is lightly used.

I know that for sure. Probably could get it $400 out the door tax included.

If you could come up with the cash and mail him (JB's Archery) a money order I am sure he would box it up and ship it to you. He is a top notch pro shop owner. A good guy. I buy most of my bows off of him.

The tech 29 has a 29 inch ATA, hence he 29 in the name. There are other bowtechs as well you could look at. Unless you have your heart set on the shorter ones.

That's not a bad deal for a Mighty Might, even if it were the wrong draw length the modules are only like 10 bucks to get it right.

Question: Do you guys think it'd be a better idea to wait until next August or so to pick up a new bow and am I being foolish thinking of buying one now?

The FL hunting season is over Feb 16, though that isn't the only reason to buy the bow.

Buckeye, I PM'd you with a few questions.

Ok here are the pics.

Ok, I guess there aren't any pics? I couldn't get it to work for some dumb reason. It works on Eders, but doesn't here? I can't even upload them from computer? Oh well. I think it has to do with the size, but I can't get them small enough to work (100 KB) and still look decent.
