Will I notice a difference?

I am planning on getting a Trophy Taker Shakey Hunter rest. I would get a prong style rest, but I can't find any around here. I would have to order off the internet and get stuck with shipping. I can't get my bheads to group at all. They shoot all over. Here are my groups: bh 1 hits 4" left. It always hits within 2 inches of the last shot. bh 2 hits 5" high. It always hits within 2 inches of the last shot with that bh. bh 3. hits 7" high and 2" left. It also hits the within 2 inches everytime. For example bh 3 would hit 7" high and 2" left on the first shot, but on the second it would hit 8" high and 2" left. I get good groups with individual arrows.
My question is would I notice a differenct using helical vanes? I would need to get a drop away rest since my prong rest isn't adjustable. What should I do?

Judging by your signature, I'd spend the money on some stiffer spined arrows first and see if that solves your problem.

I have never in my life seen a prong rest that wasn't adjustable. Even if it takes bending the prongs with a pair of pliers, they can all be adjusted.

Anyway, as I posted on your thread on the hunting forum, your biggest problem is your arrows are underspined. Underspined arrows will never tune or group together, even with field points. Put broadheads on the blasted things and the problem is magnified.

Forget the rest and put that money into arrows. 5575's are just what you need, if you want to stick with GoldTip XT's. NOTHING is going to work for you until you get stiffer arrows.

I agree with Josh. Give me more information on your arrow setup(arrow length, broadhead weight ect) and I will run the information. From what information you have given me the arrow spine seem weak. This would have alot to do with your poor arrow flight.

I am going to get new 5575 arrows. Should I get the rest and arrows? Without the rest, I can't shoot helicals.

I have been shooting the Trophy Taker since they came out and it has never failed me. I shoot an aggressive helical fletch with my setup and have had no trouble steering all types of broadheads. I don't think you will be disappointed.

I sent you an email.

I doubt the new rest will help you with your problem but if you want to uprgrade the rest and you have extra $ money laying around then do it.

I would just try to get good at what you got, and i have a shakey arrow rest and dont use it because it was nosiey upon release because it was all metal, then i put this felt on it and i made it quieter but i just didnt liked it and ended up switching to NAP
