Default If you have an index finger trigger release,

With what part of your finger do you trigger it?

Tip?

1st crease back from tip?

2nd crease back from tip?

Just curious... For me, I use the 1st crease, but that may change when I get my newly ordered tru-fire bear paw and slap it on a winn glove.

For 3d and league shooting I use the second crease.
For hunting I use the first. The only reason I switch styles between hunting and targets is the K.I.S.S. theory. It's a little cumbersome trying to hook my release on when I use the second crease because I have to shorten my release so it sits in the palm of my hand.

When I use a release, I use the 2nd knuckle. Really hard to puch the trigger that way.

I used to use the first crease but switched to the second crease which seemed to help with TP.

Rangeball;
I have been shooting the Winn Free Flight Glove Release for many, many years.... its a very comfortable glove..... You may need to take notice of the length measurement of the Beer Paw Head if it is much longer than the Winn Head you may have diffuculty getting the trigger in the 2nd crease of your finger......but then again you may not if you have longer fingers than I.

I shoot a fletchhunter release and use the tip of my finger. Right or wrong, it just feels smoothe and natural for me.

I agree with most others here, I use a Fletch Hunter Shorty and since I have been shooting a bow (5 yrs) I still shoot like I did when I used my rifles......first crease. It works very well for me. Might not for anyone else but that's life.

Enjoy.
