Straightening Fletchings

Do any of ya'll have any tips on how to straighten bent fletchings on arrows. Some how my fletchings got bent and causes my arrows to fly crazy. I have heard something about a hairdrier, but dont know if it was meant for feathers or plastic fletchings. Any tips would be appreciated.

Thanks
Chad

You can run the hair dryer over vanes to remove a pretty heavy wave. You can bring feathers back to like new by holding them over steam.

Dukhuntchad, Get a small boiler put some water in it about one or two cups full let it come to a boil! then take you arrow and turn the fletching over the steam and i mean right over the steam your fletching will striaten right out! [8D]
