carbons & glue
wondering why goatuff will not hold the alum. inserts in the bemans,is there any other epoxy to use?

RE: carbons & glue
Hmm, I use goat tuff for inserts. Have been for a while. But I did however pull out one the other day while removing a arrow from a 3-D deer.
I would say its because its a very brittle bond. And the shock of hitting targets probably cracks it. I see others using Steel force beyond bond. Very thick. Where goat tuff is very thin. |
RE: carbons & glue
For inserts I prefer to use 24 hour epoxy yeah it takes a day to dry but they are not gonna come out.;)

RE: carbons & glue
Go to your local body shop and see if they use a glue made by 3M it is automotive glue used for mirrows, auto decals and such , it is awsome but when you use it put your inserts in fast or you will NOT move them , it cost around $22.00 for a 1 oz. bottle but it is good .
