Stick on Limb Savers
I bought some stick on Limb Savers for my solid limb bow - Forge CW33.
I haven't noticed a huge difference - does anyone have experience with the stick on type? |
RE: Stick on Limb Savers
IMO, If you have a quiet bow with little hand shock and are not pushing the grains per inch for speed, you won't notice a lot of difference. I feel they help on some bows and if you dry fire your bow, they may save the limbs. This is just my opinion and is not backed up by any concrete evidence[&:]. I put them on my Outback and noticed little difference, but I feel better now:). Don

RE: Stick on Limb Savers
Believe it or not, they changed my tiller tune just slightly. Without them I was getting bullets holes thru the paper at 5, 10, and 15 yards. With them on, I started getting a slight tear. I readjusted my nock, and now all is fine. I also lost 2 to 3 fps on my shooting chrony. Some people have actually gained speed. I bet I didn't get them perfectly in the center of the limb, or not same distance from my string. Either way its fixed now.
I have to admit, it was a worthwhile ad on. speed and retuning and all. Really quieten down the bow, and lowed shock slightly. |
