Default Grayling Fletcher

First time attempting to fletch my own arrows. I am currently shooting straight offset on my arrows. The arrows were fletched by a local bow shop and i am unsure how much offset was used...any suggestions? Anyone have any tips on using this jig and setting the offset? Help !

If you like the ones the shop fletched, put one in the jig & loosen all the thumb screws.
slide the clamp over the vane on the fletched arrow in the jig & the magnet on the clamp will pull the magnet on the jig into place. Tighten the screws holding the magnet. Check that the nock setting is ok & tighten that screw. It should be real close now, this works for me. The only trouble I have is the nock rotation. I usually get it right but when its off it usually takes me 2 or 3 tries to get it right. Check your nock after the first vane, this way if its off you only need to scrape off 1 vane.
You can also leave the nock unglued untill the fletchings done, I seem to do it more & more this way lately. If your using uninocks I guess that dont matter.

The process of getting each team's roster ready for the Project would involve some in-depth checking of several things. Special attention should be payed to each player's class. From looking through the various websites and publications for every school last year, I have found that this is the data most often in error. Also, each participant would have to be sure to update any player that may have changed numbers this spring and include any incoming freshmen's numbers, if known. Also, try to include whether or not the player has red-shirted.

The Grayling Fletching Jig can be used to fletch new shafts or repair damaged fletchings instead of throwing your arrows away. Adjustable nock holder is set for 3 fletch **** feather out arrows, but can be easily converted with additional 3 fletch **** feather down and 4 fletch plate. The nock receiver fits all size nocks. The Fletching clamp will fit snugly to shaft allowing for good adhesion every time. The Grayling Jig is constructed of glass-filled nylon for long lasting life. This package also comes with a Crossbow bolt receiver and an indexed shaft holder that fits arrows from 14/64" (.220") to 26/64" (.406") in diameter. Grayling Fletching Jig comes with a Straight Clamp.
