rattling nocks

I just received my Gold Tip arrows and I believe they came with lock nocks. Are the nocks suppose to rattle? All but 2 or 3 of the dozen rattle. Also the nocks seem to fit loose in the shaft. They shoot great, but are they suppose to be that loose? My old aluminum shafts needed a tool to turn them because they were very tight. I bought them on line so I couldn't ask a archery pro these questions.

No....they are not suppossed to rattle! If they are the lock nocks, they have a small alan screw in the end. Tighten them before you shoot!!!! Be careful not to tighten them too tight, as they have a tendency to crack when too tight.

So this allen screw tightens the nock to the shaft? I'll look when I get home from work. Thanks for the advice.

Yes. You will see a hole in the end of the knock. Insert fairly small alan and tighten.
