Embarrassed

Well you remember I said I didn't know much at all about bow hunting?

Here is the embarrassing proof,

I was using the wrong part of the sight pins,[&o]

You know how they have the tip, then they have the fiber optic around the pins at the side close to the base of the sight,Well I was using the part at the base,Where the fiber optics wrap around the pins[&o]

I know I'm am dumb.

But I just used the pin tips,And I moved the sight over where it was in a perfectly straight line with the arrow,And All 3 shots at 10 and 20 yards where in the bullseye,30 was a bit wide,But I will work on that later,I'm just glad I got the 20 yard set.lol.Would've been done sooner,If I wasn't a former blonde.lol.

Don't feel bad, you are not dumb (you are a bowhunter;)) -- there was a time when all of us were green, I've been there myself:D.

That must have been hard to aim and shoot--with the rest of the pin and sight housing cluttering your view?

NOW THAT TOOK BALLS..

That shows me what kind of MAN you are.

Not many people will admit to stuff like that.

I remember when I first started hunting and I had a release. I had no idea how it worked. I kept trying to get it to hook on the nock of the arrow..
WOW...

good luck. if you ever have any questions.. LET THEM FLY

Everyone here respects you tens times more because you are figuring all this stuff out NOW and not the night before the season. I have the unfortunte luck of setting up guys the night before because they come into the shop to buy a bow because their buddies are going to the cabin for the first day and they want to go. I am sure that there are several other guys here that have done the same thing, we as true die hard archers, know that it isa not right but when someone comes into your store and wants to spend monet what do you do. Like I staed earlier everyone on this board respects you for going about it the right way. keep plugging away and good luck.

Archery is not an inborn skill. We all had to learn it at one time or another.

PS - Keep those kind things to yourself...lol

RE: Embarrassed

Dont feel too embarrassed. When I first started bowhunting I went through half the season with my bow mounted quiver upside down until someone pointed it out to me.
Not to mention missing the target and shooting a hole in the drivers door of my moms Oldsmobile. She wasnt very happy.[:@]
