Hoyt Quiver Problem - Carbon Arrows

I have a Hoyt quick detach quiver that holds 6 arrows. Last year I made the switch to carbons and noticed problems with arrows staying in the quiver. We hike alot and move around all day. I was tighting arrows all day last year. The last day of the hunt I even lost one arrow w/ a field point (broadheads do secure tighter). I vowed this year to fix the quiver. I'm curious any ideas someone might have to keep them snug without sacrificing noise or ease of getting arrows out, etc.

RE: Hoyt Quiver Problem - Carbon Arrows

I have a Hoyt 2 piece quiver. It may be very different from your quiver, but mine actually has 2 positions for each arrow. The 1st is for alluminum arrows, once my arrow is in the 1st position, then I have to push the arrows in again but harder/deeper, and then they latch in solid.

Does this make any sence.

They also make 2 different sizes of the foam holders, one for aluminum and one for carbon. Also, your aluminum arrows stretched the holders a little, allowing the smaller diameter carbons to slip.
