Arrow fletchings

Just purchased 2 doz. gold tips from an out of state supplier. After inspecting the arrows and aligning the nock, I notice that the fletch's are not all at 120deg. I would guess that half are not what I would call perfect. How much flexibility is there in the 120deg., to where you'll see a difference.

Unless you get fletching contact they should fly fine. I've even saw guys in tournaments shooting arrows with 3 fletch all on one side of the arrow. Never saw them win much tho:).

Another great reason to learn to fletch your own arrows. Or go to a local shop, pay a tiny bit more and get a usually superior end product.

The arrows probably will fly fine for general use. Mark or number your arrows and if a certain one (or several) are always flying astray then take them and refletch.

Dear Mathews shooter 2 doz. gold tips do not come cheap especially if they are fletched.I would contact the service dept.and explain to them your problem and return the arrows as deffective.Seems to me someone overlooked quallity-control in this case!Good luck Mathews shooter also!!!
