Climbing sticks

can anyone recommend a good set of climbing sticks that are light weight and can support up to 300 lbs.

Try the Lone Wolf climbing sticks. Come in sets of 3 that weigh 7.5 lbs and will get you 15 to 16 feet high. Have a 350 lb. weight capacity.

I'll second the Lone Wolf sticks. Love 'em. Haven't seen any I like better yet. Been using them for 3 years now....

I bought a 16' stick from Wally World last year. I can't remember the brand, but they were about $50 and hold 300#. The only thing I don't like about them is the straps....the 'cam buckle' straps, IMO, are not the best option for any climbing stick or treestand, but there's nothing wrong with them....I just preffer ratchet straps!

Hunter's View by any chance?

I bought the Cabelas 16' climbing stick with the 4' extension a few years back, works fine but it uses ropes to tie on if that's a concern. It was like $70 total.

Bass Pro has the Strongbuilt sticks on sale for $29 for the 15' stick or $39 for the 20' stick. I believe they are rated for 300#
