Spin testing

When you spin test your arrows, do you touch the broadhead to the point or hold it in front of it?

Not sure exctly what you mean. I don't use a commercial tester, I just spin my heads on my finger. I can feel if there's any wobble to them. It doesn't help for fixing them, but it lets me know if there's wobble. 11 times out of 12 the only thing I need to do to fix a mis-aligned head is clean the insert face up with a piece of sandpaper. It doesn't always work, but the majority of the time it does.

I got a spin tester, but I can see the wobble easier by spinning them like a top on a light colored table.

Hold it just in front.

I should add that it isn't advisable to spin a cut-to-tip head on your finger....I don't shoot any like that, so I didn't think about it. Muzzy's and Thunderheads and Wasps and suck with a 'tip' of some sort other than razor edge won't hurt though.
