Heavier stab?

Anyone use a heavier stabilizer, not necessarily a longer one, just one with more weight?

I've gotten so I don't use a stabilizer at all! Less weight is good (for hunting) and it never gets in the way! Maybe is because I got rid of mine, but the last year and a half I've come across quite a few hunters who opt not to have it.

Good Luck!

"Most" people will shoot tighter groups with a quality stabilizer on their bow! The longer the distance the more the stabilizer will help tighten your groups up!
A heavier setup will aim better and your pin will "Float" instead of "Darting" around as you are aiming!;)

RE: Heavier stab?

I use an 8in. 11oz NAP shockblocker 1000 with a knuckle that puts the stab out 12 in. I like this combo my bow hangs nice and plumb. I tried it without the knuckle and felt more vibration. And it was'nt as balanced. And it does definately help with steadying the pin for those longer shots. Alot of the new stabalizers now don'nt even stabalize the just try to harness vibration. I would like to try doinker 3-D power bar. Or the SIMS enhencer with all three of their modular stab. But that $100 right their.
