I have been on vacation for the last couple of weeks but did have the opportunity to read the test results today. Interesting results and pretty much right on my personal experiences when considering the top few bows that I have had the opportunity to get my hands on.

Now, I better go read the rest of this thread to see why there are so many posts and views...;)

Hey Frank... I was over your way at a show in Kempton this past weekend... I guess you couldn't make it because of being on vacation?... I'll be at the Keystone Country Store show in a couple weeks, are you going?

I did get to meet Joe PA (Jeff), Olink and Krotalus... Nice to have met you all (if you read this)...;):D

Darn it Pat. That is twice now that you were in my neck of the woods and I missed you. This one upsets me even more so because all of you were only 6 miles from my house. :( I go to Weaknechts bowfest every year and this is the first time I missed it. If you all decide to come again next year I will definitely be there.

That is down towards where I went to college. Let me know the date and I will try to get down that way.

Maybe we should have done a blind bow test down in Kempton. :)

I was told you lived close enough I could pee on you... or something to that effect...;):D

The show is July 31st-Aug 1st but I'll be there July 30th- Aug. 2nd.

Maybe?... How about at the Keystone show, there might be more people there...;):D

Toby-

You have my honest apologies if I read you wrong and you were in fact NOT trying to bust my chops--- having said that I still believe you were, but hey, I'm big enough to try a handshake too.;)

Merlin as stated are doing things pretty much the way we want--I've seen many many other companies struggling to get product out due to high-volume sales-- 12, 14, 18 weeks--- and then when customers get them, something is seemingly wrong with alot of them because they were rushed out the door and/or tolerances were bad, etc. We don't operate that way, and never will. We will NOT tell someone it will take "2 weeks" for a bow when it may take 20, just for the sake of a sale--- and we will NOT "rush" and run machines at ultra high speeds and create loose tolerances. Unfortunately I know other companies who do simply for the almighty buck, and this disturbs me to be honest.

Moderate Advertising will commence for us soon in major publications as well, as will true technical testing by true Pros, technicians, and industry engineers. I will update posts as to when this actually takes place...Things got a little bit behind the 8-ball on that as the factory has other things going on to enhance growth in Europe and needed to put focus there earlier this year. But we are about there. It won't be 8 pages, simply because it doesn't need to be. No bimbos, beer, race cars or rock stars, just bows. Nice ones! ;)

We are looking forward to getting more dealers onboard for the rest of this year and 2005, and are looking forward to the ongoing challenge we face. Try one if you get a chance, and you'll know what I and others are talking about when we so strongly stand behind these products. ;) That's it.. Good shooting! Pinwheel 12, out.

That's what it will take to enhance growth for any company, more dealers and getting the items in the hands of as many as you can. This might mean reduced pricing, better warranty, more advertizing, less profit etc until the demand is that in which people Are willing to wait 12 to 24 weeks for their item. Lots to be said nowdays about introducing the new bows early to start the ordering process before the rush for different upcoming archery events like winter leagues, 3D's and such as the weather changes. If I was producing bows,,, ;) I'd offer the new indoor bows VERY early,, like August or September to allow the sorting out process to begin ASAP for accuracy. This would help to sell the reputation of anyone's line for the outdoor target events and hunting.

Rangeball is sad but I am glad :D to hear that, 'cos I feel alot of the ads today are just total crap. Sell the bow (or whatever product it is) on it's merits, not somebodies...ahem...assets....;)
