I'm not sure whether the Montec G5's are any good or not ,but I bought some a couple of week's ago because of all the good reviews on this forum that I had read .I will be using them for moose and deer ,they're a sweet looking broadhead that I think will be awsome for all large game .The only negative thing that I've heard is about thier sharpness ,and that they're difficult to re-sharpen. I guess I'll have to find out for myself.

great heads for large and medium game. Sharp out of the box they are not. you can use any flat stone to sharpen them but for some reason I find that the montec stone is the easiest. it seems to be plenty wide and long to get good even strokes. Besure that you count the stokes evry time you turn the blade so they don't get off balance. A few strokes different doesn't seem to matter but I am sure that not counting will throw things out of wack. I have tried the plastic draw sharpeners and for the blades they work just ok but they do nothing for the cutting tip sometimes it seemed as if it actually screwed the tips up. becareful and mindful of things and you will come out of it with a good pass thru and easy trail to follow.
