RE: What have you heard?
Dont buy what's in the shop if that's not what you want. Look at the threads around this board and figure out the bow that sounds right for you. Then go to the manufacturers web site and read all about it. While you're there click on the link that helps you locate a dealer in your area. I read for six months about bows before I bought a Merlin, and I had to drive 7 hours to get to a dealer who had one. I'm not saying Parker or Alpine arent nice bows, I'm just saying you should not let your pro shop's inventory decide what you shoot.
good luck Rick |

RE: What have you heard?
Look hard at the Parker's in your price range then go to some other shops and test similar models. I'm not sure what Alpine offers but I haven't heard many rave about them.
BTW, I have a parker so you know my bias <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle> _________ SuperX ![]() Edited by - SuperX on 01/06/2002 09:21:58 |

Ive heard so many good things about parker. Im sure you would be satisfied with one of the ultralite series. I havent heard much about alpine. Be sure to check out all the bows you can.
