Time to tune to broadheads again! Last year I couldn't get 125 four blade Muzzys to fly at all.100s flew great.This year I wanted to try and find out why the 125s don't fly.I did an FOC thing on Bow Jackson and came up with 6-7% with my present setup and to get up to 10+% I needed to go to a heavier point,which I did and the results aren't good.The 125 Muzzy flies 5-6" to the right of the 100s.I tried changing fron vanes to feathers which made very little difference.I am determined to find a sweet spot for the 125s.Which way do I go?Ron

Most likely, your spine is too weak. I'd be shooting 7595's with that set-up.

Try stiffer arrows and more fletching in back , say 5" heilical .

Are these the same arrows you have been using with the 100 grain,spin test them and make sure they are straight.
Maybe the stiffer spine would fly better,but i would think your 55-75 gold tip xt would be fine

The Archery Program agrees with Straightarrow.

With that setup you should be using the 7595 Gold Tip XT's. With the 125 grain broadheads, the arrow weight will be around 374 grains depending on the weight of the fletching.

Even with 100 grain broadheads, the 7595 is the recommended arrow. However it is a little stiff.

To use the 5575 arrows with 100 grain points, you should back off the draw weight to about 66 lbs.

Of course, there are a number of other factors that could effect these results so base your choices on the way your bow shoots.

Remember, to ere is human, but to really screw up you need a computer.

I would suspect that your arrows are underspined for the setup. To find out if that is the problem at no cost, you could back off on the draw weight and see what happens to the grouping with the 125s vs. field points or the 100 gr. broadheads. If that clears it up, then you can decide whether to shoot at the lower draw weight, or get new 75/95s. The Cybertec is a pretty high energy bow with a lower brace height. 55/75s are about on the very upper edge of their spine range at your specs, I believe.

I'm agreeing with Joe on this one the less energy on the arrow should clear up any flexing action on your arrow, so if your 125's with lower energy fly better ,then your spine is on the weak side .

Thanks for the help guys.I think I was overlooking the obvious.I had some XT 7595s that I felt were to stiff and wasn't using.Found that my center shot could go to the right abit and my noc down a tad.Them 125s are now flying with eyes!:eek:Thanks again,Ron
