ASD thought
So basically this thing makes your cuts perfectly straight. So in thoery, I could save by not buying an arrow saw, buying a ASD, and cutting my aluminums with a hacksaw? I cut some carbons with a hacksaw for a young friend just looking to shoot, and they actually cut pretty easily. I'm wondering if they would work also? Thanks.

RE: ASD thought
The carbon arrow shafts need to be cut with a high speed arrow cut off blade or the fibers of the shaft will splinter and weaken the point end of the shaft. I've cut LOTS of aluminum shafts with a tubing cutter and if you go slow, works well. Buy an arrow cut off saw and it will save lots of time and be much more precise.
