You can get the Bushnell yardage pro sport for $150 dollars thru cabelas. I don't own one but I played with one for the first time a few days ago, now I have to have one;)

The next level up from a sport I believe is called the scout and it also has a 5X magnification that I think is really nice....cost $199

Really? They must have really come down in price. Last I saw they were around $299 but that was almost a year ago.

I have the Sport and feel that it is more than adequate for bowhunting usage. The optics leave alot to be desired but then again I am not trying to count hairs when I am using it. ;)

Strictly based on price, I'd suggest the Scout. However, you can get some good deals on RFs on eBay. I purchased a Busnell Compact 800 last year for less than $200. It seems to have very good optics and has been a pleasure to use. I'm of the mind that a RF is a scouting tool. I use it alot during the pre-season, but not much while hunting. I've marked enough of the rocks/trees/etc. around my stands to not need it during bow season. My lease is thick enough that I won't get many long shots.
