Tiller????

Is tiller as big on a single cam bow as it is on dual cam bows and recurves? Also is it worth getting it even measuring on a single cam?

to get the tiller even on your single cam bow it is nessessiary to lay a strait edge to the top of your axles and measure to the strait edge

tiller is very inportant to equalize the amount of draw weight that is being exerted on the limbs, if one limb has less force than the other it can cause eratic arrow flight and other tuning problems.

RE: Tiller????

i agree on how to measure tiller but being even tiller has no effect on arrow flight just has a effect on how the bow sits in your hand at the draw more weight on top limb bow will pull up on draw, less on top bow will pull down same as bottom limb but opposite results. you want to set tiller so bow pulls back staight on target with out going up or down during the draw.that means more or less on one limb or the other or maybe even tiller will work for you.
