Default Picked up a new BowTech yesterday.

I picked up a new BowTech Patriot SC yesterday. I set it up last night and took it out to a shoot this morning. Put up a 305 / 330 for second place first day of shooting it

I sold the 03 Extreme and the 04 MightyMite yesterday. I was going to keep the Extreme but was talked into selling it to a different Pro shop.
(Man did he get a great deal on it)

I am extremely pleased with the balance and feel of the Patriot. Its almost like it was taylor made just for me I got a good deal on the bow also, $640 out the door

Setup is:
Copper John DeadNutz Hunter w/ afterburner light
Trophy Taker shakey hunter
Vibracheck stabilizer
Braided wrist sling
some mini limb savers
Simms teflon slide
Factory hush kit

71 pounds, 29 inch draw pushes a 375 grain Gold Tip 5575 289 FPS with the hush kit installed.

I am very pleased thus far.

IMO WWAG was right on with his statement the Patriot was the best all around hunting / non serious 3-D bow.

Congrats on the new Patriot. I love mine.

Just curious though, what was your birth certificate speed? 289 seems a little slow for the setup you mentioned. I estimate you should be around 295 to 298 depending on whether that is a kisser button I see above your string loop.

Regardless of speed 305 out of a possible 330 with your first outing is awesome.

I have the hush kit, fletcher true peep hunter and a kisser on the string.
Arrow weight should say 385 grains not 375. Typo on my part[&:]

Birth Certificate says.

71.5 lbs
29 DL
309 FPS

That sounds about right. I calculated about 292 with a 385 grain arrow. My calculation or the chrono could be off that much.

My BC said 320 @ 71.5#, I shoot a 405 grain arrow at 300 fps with a peep, string loop and the hush kit installed.

I also have a 04 Patriot. Mine is set at 64 lbs 30" draw. I am shooting 386 gr Goldtips at 284 fps. I was at the Bowtech factory yesterday, they are awesome. Good luck with the new bow.

Congrats on the new bow .I just picked my second Liberty. Did you shoot at Trumbull rod and gun today? Who are you dealing with for your Bowtechs I'm thinking about a pro 40 or patriot also.

Yes, it was the rod and gun club I shot the Mosquito Bowmen shoot last week for a first place. Did you shoot either of the shoots?

This coming weekend I am going to go shoot at Nelson Ledges tournament on sunday.

I bought this one at JB's archery in middlefield. The last couple bowtechs I got at Acorn Archery in New Castle PA.

Who did you get the libertys from? The Pat is an awsome shooter. Give one a try!

I'm usually there but didn't make it today. The first one I got at acorn the second at jb's. It sucks that there are no shops closer but I work in Middlefield so that helps with jb's. We shot crooked creek last week. Will either be at Brookfield or Nelson on the 20th
