5shot and others Opinions Please

Guys n Gals

I came across these broad heads.

Specifications:

Blade: 1 3/4" Long by 1 1/4" wide, with a hardness of 51 Rockwell Weight: 130 Grains.

Blade thickness: 1.4 mm or 0.056 "

The Outback Supremes are now available in
145 / 130 / 110 grain versions.

The new model Supreme blades are a lot stronger, as they do not use a hole in the blade to crimp the ferrule nose into.

What do you all think of these heads?

I might get a couple of dozen of them as they are priced right and send some to 5shot to test

Looks decent..

How is the blade attached to the ferrule?

Do they make a 4 blade version?

From what I can find out the blades are crimped to the ferrule.

Unfortunately they are only making 2blades

Personally I'd like to see a sharper point. That looks like it hit a tree already:D I'd be leery of the ferrule as well...is it tapered? It looks like a flat ledge where the ferrule ends. May not make much difference but I'll take all the help in the way of friction reduction I can get!

Looks like a tough head, and I have learned over the years not to judge them before I actually try'em out:D I have had to eat "crow" more than once[:'(]

Ok these heads are made in Australia and have taken Asian Buffalo, pigs, goats, feral cattle and other big game animals there.

They cost $3 Australian plus shipping each.
I am thinking of getting 1 1/2 dozen sent over.

Chris.

When they get here I will send you some but will PM you so I can get your address

Remember, you get what you pay for.I've never been a fan of two bladed broadheads, and that broadhead looks really "rough"and the point looks dull.Maybe it's just me,but why spend serious money on your bow and all the accessories, and then go cheap on one of the most important pieces of equipment, your broadhead?...Bob
