Carbon Express terminators
How did you like these arrows? Are they worth the price? Are they good for hunting deer? Thanks

RE: Carbon Express terminators
I like mine, I have been using them for 3 years now. Mine werent that expensive (89.99 a dozen fletched). I thought they were good for hunting and have no complaints.

RE: Carbon Express terminators
$90!! I can get some from nwoutdoorshop.com for $47. They're not fletched but I have a jig. I can even buy a jig and fletch them and still come out cheaper.:D

RE: Carbon Express terminators
Yeah but you need an arrow saw to cut them to length, then you have to add in inserts, fletchings, glue and labor. I don't think there that much cheaper because fletching costs a lot around here.

RE: Carbon Express terminators
I have the 60-75's, and am switching b/c of draw weight change(down). They're heavier than most at 10.something per inch. They are made in Korea if that matters to you, doesn't to me. I did have a prolem with one, where the nock joins the arrow its splitting or peeling from the top down, and this arrow was shot 2ce only! The others look good. I may buy the 45-60's or what ever the next size down is. They are around 9 gpi. Great for K energy. Nocks are tight on my serving, but I am told my serving is .23 or there abouts.
On a scale of 1-10 I'd say these are an 8. |
RE: Carbon Express terminators
These have been my primary arrow for hunting these past two years. I shoot 45-60 size @ 29" @ 60#. Apparently, www.fsdiscountarchery.com has some RiverBottom camo at .003 straightness. I don't find them on their websight but they are currently re-working it. I plan to get a dozen of these and fletch them with the new NAP Quikspin vanes. BTW, I've taken a couple fat does with these arrows. Shoot straight, lots of KE.

RE: Carbon Express terminators
I prefer the CX version as they are straighter and lighter.....
But in any hunting stitiation the terminators should provide the K.E. and tuffness anyone could ask for. |

RE: Carbon Express terminators
Im switching from alluminum back to carbon and i had two of these that i picked up at kmart last year (6075 version terminators). they shoot good off my bow and you can cut them with a steak knife believe it or not. A friend of mine in wva showed me last season and i have done it on several occasions with this particular arrow. Just need to take your time score it alll the way around, then slowly saw away. Just picked up a dozen from eders cut and fletched $68.
