Zero effect pros and cons?
 

I just purchased a new Hoyt Cybertec and had the Zero Effect rest from Muzzy installed on it. I love it so far but would like to know some pros and cons that are to be expected from some of the guys here who use one. like How does the srtrike plate hold up after alot of shooting after the set screw keeps hitting it?...Thanks Rob, www.alseaintegration.com/gt/

Bumping this topic since I am also interested in the MZE.

How noisy is this rest? It seems that the moving parts would cause more noise than a typical prong rest, but maybe not.

Opinions?

Well mouse.i have been shooting it and i am really amazed at how quiet it is....The guys i shoot with said that they cant even tell i realeased because it is dead quiet.so far so good.

I've got at least a thousand shots and one season behind me with the MZE. I've noticed no wear on any of the components, including the strike plate.

Pros:
Easy to tune
No fletching contact
No launcher wear
No worries regarding the arrow falling off rest.
Quiet
Easy to get field points to hit with broadheads. (at least for me)
Durable
In most cases, shoot different spines or carbon - aluminum without retuning.

Cons:
Cost

interesting concept but too much stuff on the bow for me. I think I like the look of the new montana black gold drop-a-way rest. nice & simple
