$38.50 for the Hanson 100# scale at FS Discount. They want $55 for the same scale out of Cabelas!

You can't tell me that you haven't blown away $40 in the bar some weekends in a frivolous manner. And done it more than once.......[8D]

Take $40 and get yourself a decent scale that you'll have a lot longer than any bow you'll own. With the amount of tinkering you seem to like to do, you owe it to yourself to have it.

Yup... all in the same night, as a matter of fact... Course, I wasn't getting paid to do it

FS discount, that an on-line place? Any chance you got a link?

I think you are close enough not to worry.

A-A and Brace are rarely dead on.

Shoot and Enjoy

Ok Range, I'll walk you through this.....

You simply type in your browser address bar:
w-w-w-.-f-s-d-i-s-c-o-u-n-t-a-r-c-h-e-r-y-.-c-o-m

Once their main page comes up, you then you click on the "Bow Tuning" catagory. Scroll about 12 or 13 items down and you'll see the 100# Hanson scale for $38.50.

You think to yourself, "Damn, I SHOULD get one of these! Because I'm good enough, smart enough, and gosh-darnit... I deserve it!"

You then pick up the phone and dial their toll free number of 1-800-824-8261

Listen to the automated menu and press the appropriate number for new orders. Once you listen to a little bit of enlightening elevator music while on hold, you should get a live person on the line. When they ask how they may help you, you say:

"Hi, my name is Rangeball and I need help. I've been WAAAaaaayyyy too cheap for far too long, and I've decided that I need to buy myself a new 100# Hanson scale because I'm good enough, smart enough, and gosh-darnit.....I deserve it! Could I place this order with you today?"

The person taking the order will most likely say, "Why most certainly we can help you!". They will then probably ask for your shipping address. You can either give them your mailing address, OR feel welcome to provide them with my address as you are always welcome to use my address as your shipping destination for any and all archery purchases.

Once you finalize payment via credit card, you anxiously wait for the next 4-5 days until a box shows up at your door (or my door if I'm lucky) with the shiny new scale in it!

Let me know if I can provide any more guidance....[8D]

I did check that out, but there was no pretty picture to push me over the edge and pull the trigger...
