You have a point there Dave........ya learn something every day. I'm not sure I'll still change mine since in the end the draw post is there to provide a "custom module feel". Mine feels right in terms of valley and let-off where it's at so the numbers are for reference only.
Hey experts.....chime in and resolve this cam line issue.

OK, now I've done confused myself.
The picture in the owners manual shows a scale from 1-10 on an old infinity cam.
The draw length module post chart shows some shorter draw lengths utilizing a 11.5 draw length setting.
So with that I can only assume you are correct in counting the first slash as a 1 and the last slash as a 12.
If so, I think it's time for a new illustration in the owners manual.
And if that's the case my draw stop peg is currently on the #4 setting.

I'd say set it the same as mine in the picture and let a few fly. If it feels right, stick with it. Try moving it back and forth until you're comfortable with the length and valley. There is no right setting, only incorrect settings in the case that the cam starts over rotating. My draw post setting should put you close to your sweet spot.

I bought it with an N2 29" mod and found I was slapping the heck out of my arm. I switched it to an N2.5 28.5" and I've been happy with it so far.

I'd say that generally if you draw the bow with any size module and feel a very short valley, you are getting very close to 65% let off. Increasing the draw length with the draw stop post to where you get about 1/4 to 3/8 inch more draw length will put you close to 80% letoff. If the post is set way too far long, there will be a wide valley and lots of valley and a mushy feeling at full draw. With the draw stop post set too short, there will be no let off or valley.
The long hash marks on the '04 Infinity cam are the whole count marks (1,2,3,4 etc) and the short hash marks are the 1/2 count marks.
For an 80% let off setting with an N2 module on your Patriot VFT, you need a post setting of 6.5, counting from the "S" end of the adjustment slot

Oh man WWAG, you had me looking at my picture again![8D][8D
From the L, from the L.
Your right about the mushy feel, I'd never have thought to question it at that point in time, but my other two infinity cammed bows felt WAY better than it did towards the end of the draw cycle.

I moved the post to the correct setting of 6.5 and the draw felt as it should. But this change shortened my draw somewhat so I decided to try the 29.5" mod I brought home with me.
It was then I realized they sent me home with a 28.5" mod[&o] instead of the 29.5" I requested.
Do I have a kick me sticker taped to my back?
A phone call later and we will be swapping modules via snail mail.
