arrow flight

ok. I have tuned my bow, and it shoots good holes in paper, both @ 10 feet and @ 10 yards. Sometimes, not all the time, but sometimes I notice a pretty significant tail whip when my arrow flies. I shoot with a release, but could it be the way I release the arrow to cause this, or could I have some other problem?

If its not all the time - and not the same arrow - then it is you - and bow torque.........

The million dollar question is.................

Is torque creating the bullet holes, or the tears........:D

I noticed the same thing yesterday and figured out that it was a strong cross wind causing the effect.

I agree with Rack. You need to get your bow as close as possible for now and then spend some time working and your grip and your form and then worry about tweaking everything once you have those issues ironed out.

If he was tourqing the bow and the arrow was kicking out wouldn't the impact of the arrow be at an angle rather than straight? Or would it just cause "flyers"?
