As far as the Trio sight I love it. I have three superbright pins that I can see easily past shooting hours. The pins are probably a bit large for target use but for bowhunting they're great!

As far as the Axis St's I really don't understand why they would be that much better than the Goldtip XT's. Both have a +/- 2.0 grain weight tolerance and the straightness tolerance on the Goldtips is within +/-.003 which is better than the Axis which is +/-.005. I do understand they have a slimmer diameter which supposedly helps penetration but I doubt that would really be a problem with my set-up.

I'll have to check-out those other strings.

I would definitely get a new custom string. It will make a huge difference - long term. With the remaining $40, I'd buy some more of the goldtips, so you can weed out the bad ones and hopefully end up with enough good, matched arrows, to shoot decently with.

would have to go with a Muzzy Zero Effect rest.....I shoot a Legacy and the zero effect is awsome
