Genesis peep Vs. Specialty Archery Products
 

Has anyone tried the Genesis Peep, It claims it can clear up a scope without any clarifier. Does the angle adjustment stay in place once you set it and does it really clear up low power scopes without its having a lense. I am thinking of the .180 size for hunting and 3-D and will have to make a choice between the Genesis or Specialty Archery Products Super Peep.

I own a couple each of both Genesis and SA.

The adjustability of the Genesis is nice, but the peep housing is rather wide in diameter. On my peep, the center poertion would occasionally creep out of position and you'd have to realign it. I was told that if you pop the center out and rough up the edges with sand paper it will not do that.....

I've gone back to a regular peep or SA peep with interchangeable apertures. It's just me, but I don't care for how wide the Genesis is. With good quality strings and a little tinker time, I have no problem getting perfect alignment on peeps. SA does make two different peep housings, 37* and 45* depending on what A-to-A length your bow is and drawlength combination. Check their website for the charts on which would work best for you....
