My Pro-40 spot bow

I had an itch to scratch....so I went and scratched it:D

A big thanks to Black-Frog, who was kind enough to answer all my rookie target bow questions.

She is going to take some getting used to - The whole thing has just a strange feel to it. Shot her yesterday for the first time and managed a few 5x's but it will take a bit. I also managed to knock into for or five other shooters with the stab though:eek::eek::eek:.....like a bull in a China shop:)

Notice the rest....it doesn't drop away:D:D..........

I had to C&P properties to see your pics.

I see you picked a popular color for a spot bow.:D And of course, everyone needs some limbsavers when they shoot targets.;)

I had to do the same thing nub but I believe it was worth it. :)

Nice rig RA, but I had no idea you planned on getting into target archery not to mention buy a new bow. I like your rest selection in particular. I use the GKF premier series almost exclusively on my bows now...with one or two tinker sessions thrown in....:)

LOL.....Its gota look a little like a hunting bow, I don't want to go into complete culture shock;)

Yea - the itch has been brewing for some time. Throw in a few butt kickings at some local shoots from some target rigs and..........well, if you can't beet them Join them:). The rest is real nice, solid and easily adjusted - perfect for what I want to do. Thanks for posting the pics.........don't know what the problem is.

Its a specialty Archery Scope - 6x

All right!!

Another "spottie" in the making! :)

What sight bar did you end up getting? Isn't that a Tox?

A dot and a ring- how do you like that?

Your 60x game is in your future..... ;)

:D...see, you can say that here and not get harrassed. :) I have seen on a few other forums where that is a bad word.

I have to tell you....seeing a target rig again has me sort of longing to shoot one. I gave it up a few years back as I became "too" competitive but it still has some of the same appeal to me.

5300, nice! New or used? How do you like it? That 5300 is still on the "list" for my new sight this spring.

future (fyoo' cher) n. 1.the time that is to come 2. what is going to be

So in other words, anytime from this day forward. :)

Its new. I don't know enough about them to give a good report. It seems very well made, nice positive clicks and sturdy. The one thing that I don't like is that the scope carrier does not have a quick disconnect like the supreme sights. You have to pack it up with the scope attached, and cannot do a quick scope swap. Not a big deal for me but I was surprised.

The beiter stab deal feel thru. I pay dealer cost from kinsey's.........so there lies most of my equip decisions. The stab feels good with the v-bars the way I have it set up. As I become more accustomed to it I can adjust a few things.

Thanks again;)

She is alot of fun to shoot.;)
