D-loop problem

When i knock an arrow and the put my release on the loop, the back of the knock and my release touch. Should I take this back to the proshop that set it up for me, or is there something that I can do? sometimes it doesn't touch, but we are talking like 1/32" of an inch between knock and release. Thanks everyone in advance for your info.

You'll probably have to re-tie it in this case. If the shop set it for you and you don't have the material, I'd be sure to take your rest with you and have them redo it correctly. One thing to keep in mind though - they stretch by as much as 1/8" over time. Maybe some good stretching is in order before you take it all the way back to the shop.

Fritz is right. If it is new, give it a little time. It should stretch out to be about perfect.

Take a pair of needle nose pliers and put them inside the loop. Open the pliers, use a lot of pressure. Should stretch the loop enough.
