I am hearing the new Ovation is a real sweet bow. Havn't shot it myself though. Otherwise the Conquest models are very good.

If you are not dead set on one of the newer models and can find a shop with one of these, they are good shooters.

Q2XL

Q2XL is a great bow, but i dont think they make it anymore, so youd have to find one somewhere. I really like them though. Conquest is a good bow also, but its pretty long. 41 AtoA.

Try out an Icon! 37" ata 7 5/8" brace height , and smoothest drawing bow in their line.

I have shot Mathews for 6-7 years .........and if I wanted the best Mathews (hunting) bow ever made over 36"...........

I would have to look real hard for a used MQ-1 !! :D

I have enjoyed every other Mathews I've owned ........but besides the HP cam...........they have not really improved anything since the MQ-1 !! Well.........maybe the camo !! ;)

What is your draw length?

I'd have to resoundingly second CBM... and you can get 'em on some of the boards in the classifieds for around $225-$250 if you look around. That's a pretty good deal for what most people think is the best bow Mathews ever made...

I'll second that ICON choice. Especially if you shoot fingers! It is the best fingers bow I've shot.

I think the Icon fits the bill

You know the general starting point in figuring draw length is to take your wingspan and divide by 2.5. If that is really your draw length and you're at 60lbs and you really want more accuracy then I'd look at the the ConquestIII, although I'd get it with the minimax cam as that is a real smooth draw. It's 65% letoff though. That will give you a litttle more power than the Ovation or the Icon.

I have a Methews Legacy that is 29 inch draw 60 to 70 pounds 34 ata. 70% let off. It is two years old. If you are interested 400.00. It is a great bow but i have had some surgery and I will not be able to pull it back anymore.
