Easton vs. Beman spine stiffness
 

just making sure that I have this correct. FOr easton arrows, the lower the number, the less deflection= stiffer spine. So if that is right, how do Beman arrows work? I mean are 400's comparable in both brands? I'm shooting 29.5" draw, razortec at 66-68#. I was thinking 400's or should i go with the 340 axis? I'm confused...again.

Easton owns Beman. Their spine designations are identical. I think I'd go 340 with your setup.

thanks jeffb, do you think that the 340's would be sufficient if I dropped down to say....62 or 60lbs for turkey hunting?

The easton size/ spine is correct unless you are talking about easton A/C/C arrows. the higher the # in these arrows the stiffer the shaft will be. For example the 3-60 will be stiffer spined than the 3-49. For regular carbons, these guys have hit the nail on the head. The 340 shaft would be a good selection.
