Easton Axis arrows
 

I would like to shoot the new Easton Axis and am concerned about which to get. I have been told to get the 400 and another tells me the 340. I shoot Mathews Outback 80% let off, 70 lbs, 27 inch arrow. Now, I was looking at easton chart and 400 is ok for 27 inch arrow and 340 for the 28 inch arrow. If anyone is shooting these, could you please provide some feedback.

If you're on the line.. go w/ the stiffer arrow.

I shoot a 27" shaft at 65lbs and the 400's shoot very well for me. The charts claims I can go all the way up to 70lbs with these. Honestly, I would opt for the 340's for your setup. Most solocams like a stiffer spine.

I would suggest the 340 as well. You can never go wrong with a little stiffer spine.

I just got my 340's today for my Outback !! Fun setting them up !!


I was a little surprised at their size........while small ......they really aren't a lot smaller than a regular ICS carbons to me !

Anyway.....fletching up 3 with some Bohning Blazer vanes ...we'll see what they do soon !! :)

Mic'd them at the shop with a set of digital calipers :

A/C/C 3-60 .2885 inches or about 7.3 mm
340 AXIS .269 inches or about 6.8 mm

The 3 I fletched spin good .....can't wait to shoot ....but it's raining !!
