Feather Problem

I'm shooting a 5" tru-flite feather and am having problems with the top of the feathers tattering after only a couple of shots. They are fleched in a right helical but I'm shooting a quiktune 2000 dropaway. Could I still be contacting somewhere on the rest?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

RE: Feather Problem

yes you are getting contact on the rest or cables.

What feathers are tattering?

Use some foot powder to determine exactly where they hit.

Then look at Buck Magnets thread "***UPDATE*** Solved the TT Problem, THANKS GUYS~~~~ " in the bowhunting forum and read my post on dropaways

RE: Feather Problem

I have the cock feather oriented down. That feather is fine and also the top right feather. The top left feather is the one being tattered. It has enough clearence but if the rest is not droping away fast enough, then it will hit. I can tell just by looking at it. I'll read your other post. Thanks.
