Seen this yet?

I know I posted this ages ago, but I still don't understand exactly what this thing does-

Savage Turbow dealie-ma-bob... At first, I assumed it simply restricted cable slide movement to increase draw weight, but from reading their description of it, I'm left wondering what the...

Anyone every seen or used one? What's it do exactly? Does it have any merit?

I have a friend with an older browning bowthat tried to buy one of these from savage. They have discontuned the contraption. They told him they were getting heat from bow manufactures about it voiding their factory warranties.

I got somewhat of a headache just reading the description. :( At first glance I thought it was a fancy version of the Jennings Swing Arm cable guard.

:)

Cause I haven't "seen them yet"... :)

I've goofed around with the NAP Thunderblox. The work VERY well. As good as Sims AFAICT. The "Double split limb" versions are most excellent for Hoyt (or other split limb bows), but the double version does rob some speed.

:)

Thanks for the info Jeff. They look big and bulky so I was curious.
