? for Spot Hogg Sight Users

I am thinking of trying a spot hogg sight this year and noticed that cabela's carries several of them. I will list them. Spot hogg barebones, spot hogg-hogg it, spot hogg hunter hogg it, spot hogg right on, and spot hogg real deal. If anybody with experience using these sights can give me some input on the one you use and what you like about it, I would really appreciate it. I have used copperjohn for the last couple of years, and they have a great hunting sight. I use the .029 pins and the large pin guard. I can pick up these pins very well and the orange ring around the sight is neat for centering the peep. I just wanted to try somehting different. Thanks, Bhunter32.

You can't really go wrong with any of the Spot-Hogg's.
I've got the Right-On on my Patriot, quality sight, though
if I were to buy another it would probably be the Hunter
Hogg-It.

I just talked with them a couple of days ago - had to get
some replacement fibers for my pins - the person I talked
to mentioned they were working on a "brushguard" for the
backside of the pins[:-]:D[:-] and it may be available
in the next few months. The only sight it will not fit
is the Barebones, so you might want to stay away from
that model.

I should probably mention I broke two fibers on my sight,
not the pins, but just the fibers. Nothing major, but a pain
nonetheless[:@]. I did get a little rough with my bow late in the
season....venting a little frustration I guess[>:]. So, hearing
about a possible brushguard puts a smile on my face:D.

The sight itself...I think I could throw it in the road and
run over it with my Jeep...and hunt with it the next day[:-].
I don't see how they could build a tougher sight.

BHunter32! What kind of money were the Spott Hogg Real Deal I've been tossing around about putting one on my Patriot Dually this season.

Nubo, the real deal sells for 129.99 in the cabela's archery catalog. Hope this helps.

Depending on what you want to do with your bow.
I have a hogg-it with 2" pin guard originally it was for 3d but it soon found its way onto my hunting bow.

Any of the Spot Hoggs will do just about any job you want them too but as far as i am concerned the Hogg-It is the best and well worth the extra money.

You can pick them up for good prices on Archerytalk or you can give PW12 a buzz I know he sells them.

I use the Spot-Hogg Right On sight. It's the same as the Real Deal except that it lacks the micro-adjustment for windage. Great sight!

Navy,
I will back you up. Take a look at the Copper John sights as well. They are built equally as tough and have great customer service.

I have the Real Deal and really like it,the micro adjust is great.I have used cheaper sights that worked just as well but I kept getting new ones cause I just couldnt find the perfect sight I was real comfortable with.I think I'll keep the Real Deal for awhile.I have the .029 pins and the 2 3/8" pin guard, great for hunting.
