No peep sight

Has anyone used the item called the Hind Sight? It is a peep sight eliminator. I got one for my Oneida bow. Didn't get to try it out yet.
Anyone have some pointers I could use, feel free to share them.
Thanks!

Set it up and anchor with the cross hair on the same pin everytime and it will work . Keep the pin in the middle of the cross hair and it will work better...

Jazzy.

I had the Hind Sight on my bow for a little while.
Yes it works well but can be confusing once you set it up you sight in at say 20 yards.
Then all your other distances you have to keep that 20yrd pin centered in the cross hairs so to speak.

The confusing thing is that no matter what the distance you are shooting you have to keep that top pin centered.

Now with that in mind just imagine a buck of a life time comes wondering out at 30 yards your heart is racing you dont have time to think you raise the bow center your 30 yad pin and fire.
The arrow sails over the bucks back you think WTF then remember you have to center the top in in the cross hairs.

If you really want to get rid of the peep sight then work on your form and anchor points.
Its not that hard to shoot a bow without a peep it just takes consistancy and practice.

RE: No peep sight

My hindsight is still on what is now my backup bow. When I got the new bow I just put on a pendulum. I tied a knot on the string and slid it up the string until it was right under the pin when I am at anchor. I put a kisser on the string and that is in the cornor of my mouth a anchor. That is all I used this year. Sight picture is very clear that way. I preceive the string as a blurr just to the right of the pin. I preceive the knot as a blot right under the pin. If the knot is not right under the pin I am not at the correct anchor. I took four deer this year with that system. Works for me...

I once had the desire to try the hind sight or no peep, but the more I hear about them the more trouble they sound. When I have that once in a lifetime buck in bow range, I don't want to be thinking about lining pins up and etc. My peep may hender my sight picture somewhat, but at least I don't have to think before I shoot.
