Right offset is judged when looking from the back end (nock) of the arrow toward the point.
In this position the front of the vane or feather is to the right of the back end of the same vane or feather. |

Yet the ironic thing is, to right offset a feather you need to use left wing helical feathers and vice versa:) What's up with that?
