RE: home made arrow rest
Pup.
I think you are talking about the Plainsman rest made by Walks With A Gimp. I had one last year and after testing it my dealer wanted to test it and so far I have not been able to get it back off him[:@] But get in touch with WWAG either by PM or email I am sure he will be able to hook you up with one. |
RE: home made arrow rest
Now wait right there a minute Ausie!!!! Thanks to you, I'm hip deep in bow press parts, boxes and sand blast sand:D I don't know when I'll get a chance to build more arrow rests but I want to, I really do;) I'll probably manage to get one made for my '04 Patriot Dually VFT in target black and red[8D] When it comes in:(

Russ.
I cant help it if you are a master craftsman and make good products[:-]:D Nor can you blame me for you being so busy how was I to know that within the first few days of me doing the report on the press you would get 67 million orders from all around the world[:o][:-];):D But I will wait a couple of days and repost the report I done on the rest;) Just so you can catch up to current press orders[:-][:o]:D |
RE: home made arrow rest
Hey Wwag...you better just ship that bow to me Brother. Sounds like you don't have time to shoot with all the work you've got piled up:D;)

RE: home made arrow rest
oh yea.. and were does that string conect? and how does it work?
|
RE: home made arrow rest
Pup:D Actually,,,, I do have twin Pro 40 black and pewter target bows, well one is my wife's[8D] The pull cord attaches to the top limb at the base of the fork. When you draw the bow, the limb comes back and down allowing the return spring to raise the launcher and arrow into position. With my 29 1/2 inch draw, I'm getting about 7 1/2 inches of support duration before launcher drop starts on this bow. On my Patriot Dually, I get about 10 1/2 inches[:o]:D Good luck with yours!!!!

RE: home made arrow rest
yeah i love my pewter pro 40 dually![:-] yeah i made a rest with some peices of old rest and just some junk from my shop just to see if my thery worked, which was to conect it to the bottom limb. which in theery is the same as yours but i like the idea of the top limb even better[:-]:D:D[:-]

RE: home made arrow rest
Get a Bodoodle Bullet rest and then just tie the launcher down with a piece of string loop material to the back side of the string on a single cam bow or the lower buss cable on a Dually;)

RE: home made arrow rest
