quiet rest

I shoot a TM style rest, and I am wondering what I can put on the prongs to silence them. I am looking for something that is super quiet, durable, and that allows for good fletch clearance, as I shoot carbon arrows with 4 inch helical vanes. Thanks.

I have never found anything to put on your prongs that is very durable. I use vaseline, or just wipe your finger on your nose, and transfer it to the prongs on your rest.
Very important to remember.... wipe your finger on the OUTSIDE of your nose. Your nose is naturely oily, and will quiet your rest down.

There are many different things made to put on the prongs to quiet them, but as for durability they do not seem to hold up long especially with carbon arrows. I do not use anything on my quick tune rests and never had a problem with deer hearing the arrow when I draw back.
