Don't be so drastic, it is a small tick, have a shp check it out or something, I have never had that happen before with my LX, and I would not give that up for a Bowtech or anything! You are the first person that I have heard of this problem, sounds like bad luck to me!! Check the clips on the axle, check the idler wheel, check the string, it might just be that something is loose!

trestand,
I had the same ticking noise you are talking about in my LX. There's a post regarding it somewhere on here. I finally stopped mine by taking a chainsaw blade sharpener and putting a groove in each suppressor to keep the string from sticking to the suppressor. It worked!

Jeff,There has been a lot of talk about this "ticking noise" in the LX.I'm into QUIET,and that tick is loud to me,also, when you pay over $700.00 for a bow,I personally feel all these "adjustments" are a lot of crap.Funny thing though,my first bow,a $400.00 Parker Hunter-Mag was quiet, also my 03 Patriot S-C was quiet. But my Q2 and the LX make funny little noises.Go figure!!!!...Bob

BB9,Yes I called Mathews, and they gave me a song and dance about string wax, basically,no answer.I don't claim to be some kind of bow guru, but I shoot a LOT,and I'm into the ins and outs on all my equipment, and the answers they did or did'nt give me were of no use...Bob

Is your bow new trestand?? Shoot it some more, if so, and get it broken in! But if not, then I don't know what to tell you, Mathews would not know what it is, it could be many of things, take it to a shop and get it looked at, that is your best bet!

Too bad Trestand. That sounds totally unacceptable. I would have been pi****! I am having a hard time posting....guess its the fact I barely know how to operate a computer. What I would be willing to do is send and email to someone from the site and they can post. Any takers? Let me know and I'll get something to whomever tomorrow a.m.
