BB9 its unfortunate you mentioned the word Mathew's, had you said Bowtech your input would have been accepted with open arms and atta boys.

Hey, I really like BowTech. I think their bows are great. Have owned one. I like how aggressive they are with parallel limbs.
Having said that however, my preference is Mathews. Other people on other websites try to force their view that one is better than the other down everyones throats. Have an opinion, take a position, state your case, and accept the fact their are lots of great bows out there.
I hope this site is different in that everyone can all agree that Bowtech and Mathews make fantastic bows...period.
The competition has caught up to Mathews and I'm happy for that as it should make Mathews come up with increasingly better product.

How did you get a hold of an Outback, Mathews has not even released it yet!??? But I have an LX, and I am thinking of buying another bow! And it is the same cam, it is the HP cam!

A rep brought one in to a "select" pro shop to view and shoot. I happen to be there and am a good customer.
The cam on the Outback is the HP but with some improvements.

Bob there was some talk about this over on Archerytalk a few months back.
What was basicly said that it was the string coming off the string supressor.

Something to do with wax sticking to the supressor.
I cant remember what else was said.

No tick or noticable sound at all. Similar, yet better than how my Legacy's shoot.

Saw Ausie-guy's post. Maybe because I always replace Mathews strings with Winners Choice when I get a bow this results in a different (no) sound. I don't like the Mathews strings as they stretch and can cause cant problems. Switching to Winners Choice eliminates this. Better quality in my opinion.

I hate to be the bearer of bad tydings, but I did change to Winners Choice strings, and still had the "tick".Tried cleaning the suppressors with alcohol(when I was putting on the WC),still had the "tick".Put moleskin on the suppressors, still has the "tick".It's in the idler wheel, clips, washers,or bearings, but it's all in the top.Gun oil will help, but only for a short time. You know, this kind of thing is the reason I sold my Q2,and it's a shame I'm dealing with it on the LX.Now the voices in my head are telling to look at the Bowtechs....well they are just going to have to wait till the Harrisburg Outdoor show...Bob
