bearings in cams?

I notice most manufacturers don't use bearings in the cam on single cam bows only in the idler wheel. why not? I think I heard somewhere the Mathews Black Max uses bearings in the cam. seems like using bearings in the cam would increase speed and reduce cam lean.

RE: bearings in cams?

I have noticed that also. One of my local pro shops is an Alpine dealer. I think all of their bows use bearings on both ends regardless of being single of dual camed. I think its a good idea personally. I believe maybe my next bow is going to be an Alpine. They are one of the nicest bows I've seen.
